I don't like to trade-in old games, just in case I get nostalgic for them. PC games are definitely cheaper, not just when they come out, but throughout most of their lifetimes. Plus $5 Steam and Direct2Drive deals abound.I own both a 360 and a PC. I don't subscribe to Xbox Live Gold -- I question why I even have both systems since I have a PS3, other than the fact that I'm a completionist. There's Fable 2, Halo 3, Gears of War 2... I suppose that justifies its position on my shelf, sort of. I also have a bunch of games that were ''supposedly'' 360 exclusive, like Mass Effect (when it first came out) and Grand Theft Auto 4: Episodes from Liberty City. I ended up buying Mass Effect for PC later to get the better experience anyway.PS: Putting aside Gamespot's somewhat strange reviewing system, and looking at average collections of reviewer opinions on Gamerankings, the above-mentioned 3 games are the only ''great'' exclusive non-racing games.
there is really only one group of fanboys here that think that is bad...I think we all know who they are.

Idk i got everything, and Xbox i use for most games. 1 vs 100 is the greatest game EVER. where else would you learn that over 15,000 don't know what Crtl on the keyboard means, but they know who miley cyrus is
Well from what I hear, Halo 3 %26 Forza 3 both look %26 play better on the PC. :P
It isn't bad, I found it to be the most wise decision to own a PC and a X360.
It isn't, but Cows would like people to think it's a rather redundant combination. Odd, as I'm able to enjoy a plethora of unique titles on both my 360 and PC.

It's not. People for some reason think a lot of 360's games are on PC, when in fact, it's not really true. There are certainly few, but not enough to forego one or the other.
Generally people look to diversify their gaming experience and considering not all but a chunk of 360's big titles are multiplat on PC it isn't considered the best option. But its all a matter of opinion and tastes. Some people may buy a system for a few particular titles, while other would argue that. Personally when I got my Wiia couple ofyears backI only got itfor like 3 games Zelda, SMG, and SSBB.
I think this opinion was also common last generation, by the way - that if you had a PC, there was no reason to buy an Xbox 1. This was despite the fact that Halo 2 and Ninja Gaiden were exclusive until 2007, and Xbox 1 also had Panzer Dragoon Orta, Project Gotham Racing 2 and Forza Motorsport. But it wasn't enough to counter the prevailing idea that a good PC and a PS2 was all you needed.And now, slowly - and this is a credit to the PS3's onslaught of exclusives over the last 2 years, people are starting to think the same way about this generation.

No it just makes a hell of a lot more sense to get a PS3 when you have a decent PC, at least for the general core gamer. And TC it isn't bad, it just isn't optimal.

I thought about that for a while, but in terms of some of the truly better multiplats (i.e Bayonetta), and there are still a decent amount of exclusives, for $200, it seemed really worth it for me at least.

It's worth it for streaming video to the TV alone. The games are just a bonus! :P

Again still bringing it back to opinion and tastes of the gamer. Example 360 has a lot of titles that are PS3/360 multiplat (FFXIII) that arn't on PC. So if you only own a PC and a 360 then you have a pretty good selection. But people look at this as PC+360 or PC+PS3 or PC+Wii and out of all of those combo's the 360 is the one with the least amount of titles not on the PC.
