or they feel like the demo will give a poor representation of the product. I hate demos, just get the game out. that and REMEDY FTW...so i still believe :)

Nothing can REMEDY these constant delays :P

what is a AAAA title?also lots of games never got demos, MGS4, LBP, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, GTA4, ME2, MW2 are among a few that didn't get pre-release demos

Countless games go without a demo before launch, many add a demo after but a lot don't at all. I don't follow your train of thought at all.
it looks to me that a Demo is not ready.
Or perhaps they don't want any of the story ruined at all since they've had that under tight wraps for a long time now....
Why do you need a demo of a single player story oriented game? ...
If what devs say about this game is accurate, a demo would be a very poor demostration of the final game.

No demo=/= prove development problem

Loads of games didn't get demos like MGS4, GTA IV, GeOW 2, Halo 3, Halo ODST, Fable II, LBP and they all scored great.
Or perhaps they don't want any of the story ruined at all since they've had that under tight wraps for a long time now....
