Did WKC really flop?

It was hyped AA and received a 6 so yeah it flopped. Those who are playing it are saying its not that bad so give it a shot if you want.Did WKC really flop?
Definitely a flop, but that's just by SW rules. If you're interested in it, get it; don't let some review dictate your decision.
It was Hyped A, possibly AA. GS didn't like it much.It got bad scores in Japan a few years back, and it's just an old game. The fact we got it in 2010 is kind of tragic, and certainly didn't help the scores of the game.It's a flop in any event, but one of those older games that have a certain feel. I would check out Metacritic, and search to see what IGN, GI, and a few others scored it before you decide to omit it. I personally never go by just one site, or one reviewer. I go with multiple if I'm on the fence.

It's a flop, period. The game was announced in 20062006And it's barely out now and it looks NOTHING like the 2006 video. Looks like a PS2 game at times.Flop.

Yeh it flopped, still MAG met the hype, when even PS3 owners doubted it.

While he is a fanboy, his post is kinda true.



The game did appear on a lot of PS3 2010 lineup lists, and was hyped about AA. So yes it flopped.
According to GS it flopped since hype was AA but the game is getting mixed reviews. I'm sure the game is better than what the 6 in the score suggests.

Yes it did.The only thing flop means is that GS scored it lower than it's members thought it would get.Nothing more, nothing less.
Yes, player reviews don't count when it comes to ownage. We hype GS scores not user scores.
I think your usage of the word ''flop'' is a little misguided, as well as your choice of the board in which to pose your inquiry.See, the thing is, this being System Wars, you can bet that the majority of the replies to this question will just be fanboys crying ''TEH FLOP DEAL WITH IT'' in unison. If you wanted to ask people who've played it if the game is ACTUALLY worth playing, then you should have avoided the use of the term ''flop'' at all costs.Now in my opinion, the game looks like it could be okay (Doesn't hurt that Level 5, one of my favorite devs, created it) and I'll be picking it up, but most likely not until it's price is around the $40-$50 mark. All in all if you wanna play it, play it. A flop only matters in this one small corner of the internet. It shouldn't affect your gaming purchase decisions.

That's actually not a flop.



A flop is when a game is hyped to a certain level, and fails to meet that level at GS.



Anything under 7 is a game that isn't really worth your money and time, and might as well be a flop.
I remember it being hyped AAAA, that it was the best thing...well infact some people here say that about most sony games...so most games do flop as this game should, from all the hype it got...same with MAG
Simple answer: Yes, it flopped

Longer answer: Probably shouldn't come to System Wars regarding a game that didn't meet its hype and expect honest opinions. Most people you will get responses from haven't played it, but have seen the score and that is all they need to formulate their opinion. I would go to the actual WKC board and ask around there. Definitely have more helpful things to say
I rly don't think it flopped cause the only really low scores it got was here and ign. People are kinda blowing it out of proportion though cause it got 2 bad scores, and basically the rest 8s, and they aren't really mentioning those reveiws.
Flopped on Gamespot yeah. Flops =/= Bad games however. The general average seems to be higher than Gamespot's and IGN's reviews so it's not hard to imagine that people would still enjoy it.
