Seems like Bad Company is following the COD series. Started off being rated T then moved to be rated M.

Too bad the game doesn't have awesome gore.
The first game teetered on M to begin with so I'm not surprised.

seems easier to make and sell M rated games now a days. Might as well go with it

I dont think its M for the blood because there is really very little, but for the language.
Can you turn off the cursing? I mean enough of the f-bombs.
There didn't seem like enough blood, but you have to remember aside from the constant f bombs you hear online (and in the single player trailer some characters say a few, implying this might be in SP too), the game is much more serious than the first and you can see things like enemies dying and limping or slit throats by an ally. So it was pretty inevitable, and Dice doesn't seem to care or else they wouldn't have put it all in.
Why does the rating matter? Anyone who wants will get it.
Well with all the swearing it was bound to get an M.On a side note..HOLY CRAP I CANT WAIT FOR MARCH 2ND
One thing missing from previous Battlefield games was swearing. I love it, at first I thought it was my teammates over voice chat, it's really realistic.
