Red Dead Redemption - PS3 or 360?

Which version should I pre-order? My xbox will probably break but it might be prettier. PS3 has less chance of breaking but might have some jaggies.Either or might be the original platform and one will be a port. Midnight Club LA was particulary nice on the PS3, but I thought GTAIV was better on the xbox.?.?Red Dead Redemption - PS3 or 360?

Seeing how GTA4 was better on the 360, I'd go for the 360 version on this one.

They'll be virtually the same--just like GTA4. Controller preference.

Multiplats are usually better on the Xbox 360, plus it has the better controller.

If its a multiplayer game, then I'd get it for whatever system you have more friends on.

nope you have it backwards. The ps3 version does have less pop in but worse on everything else

Regardless of which version won, GTAIV is one of those multiplats that are practically identical on both systems.



Meaning is not really relevant which one won.

they both have their faults, ps3 ran sub 720p and 360 had this terrible dithering effect

If the PS3 has a mandatory game install like GTAIV, then I'd choose to get Redemption on the 360. The recent videos for this game got me interested but I'll wait for reviews to see which one has an advantage if any. You can always change your pre-order though.
