Hardest game you have ever beaten?

Videogame nerd just reminded me of a game I use to play as a kid. This game made me curse like a truck driver at 11 years old and I even use to toss my controller at the tv. Broke one controller and even scratched our old tv playing it.I don't care how good of a gamer you are, this game offers a challenge that is near impossible. It took me years to beat it and that was with a bunch of luck.What is the game?Ninja Gaiden on the NES. Ninja Giaden on Xbox. DMC 3 was also pretty brutal.
Nes Battletoads.
Beating Gears of War by myself in the hardest difficult was quite hard, mainly the last boss that took me some time and a hell lot of patience
Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks was the hardest,recently ME2 on Insanity was pretty tough specially because I always ran out of ammo.Army of Two T40thD was somewhat hard also.

Star Wars: Rogue Leader on Gamecube very often got me really pissed off. :x Those medals are so damn hard to get!

Serious sam first encounter on mental with all the secrets. the game is so ridiculous, there were so many enemies it brought my computer down to its knees
