Whos enjoying the AvP demo?

Got to say this game is a lotta fun! Played as all the species a couple of times and they all fun to use and have very different play styles but i think its balanced fairly ive won with marine and predator but alien i found hardest becasuethey have no ranged weapons.The game contorls well, looks decent enough but nothing special. I reckon the gameplay is tense and arcadey, good atmosphere and feels like your playing in one of the films!So i dont see it being a AAA but it should really get at least an 8 from my first impressions and will have lasting appeal to anyone who likes the original films.FUN GAME!Oh yeh its hard to find games but just party up with people and you can play continuousley with them.Whos enjoying the AvP demo?
I expected an awesome game but I came away with a meh...I'd give the demo a 7. Everything just seems so glitchy and the controls were terrible and finding a game takes years!

If it wasnt so dark and the marines were not killed every 5 seconds.....
I found the controls to be fine, someitmes it takes a bit of adjusting. I didnt notice any glithces at all.Yeh its hard to find a game cus the severs dont work properly but if you get a few friends on it you can start a party and its ace!

[/QUOTE]Pretty much my take as well. The trailers had me quite excited, but what little I actually got to play of the demo (due to horrible matchmaking)quelled that excitement in a hurry.
If your a marine the motion sensor is your best tool ive come first as marine with a ten kill spree just gotta pick up that auto aiming minigun thing, its a monster!
Haven't tried it yet, and don't really know if i should. My friend told that the matchmaking is dreadfully slow
matchmakeing is broken, only use for it is to add poepleto your players list. then you can hook up with ppl and start a party only need 4 poeple for a good game!

game is way unbalanced, this is a demo not a beta. the human class is way underpowered compared to the predator and alien class. the alien can see through walls and see where people are located and can sneak up, while the predator can go camo the whole match? this game is way unbalanced it's horrible imo and almost every one else who played the demo i was talking with last night.

Perdator > Human > Alien as long as you know how to play with each one you can get kills and stay alive.Nothing can 'sneak up' on humans because you have a motion tracker and sound sensor like in the films.Evey one ive played with as been enjoying it and talking about the good bits.I suppose it depends who you party up.

Heheh. I tried so hard to get a kill with the marine. Nothing worked on those damn aliens!
You shouldnt judge a game after one round, its a good game!I thinkif your a marine you need to pick up a shotgun and if you get the minigun type gunyour unstoppable for about 5 kills! So it evens out.
It was meh.
I suppose AvP will appeal to an older audience really ot at least those who have seen Aliens if you like the film your gonna like the game. I think it will make the community better for it. Im definetley buying this game and from what ive played (about 6 10 minrounds) its gonna be a blast!
I'm playing it on PC.From my experience, and from browsing various forums, I concluded it's very well balanced. I saw all three races winning or dominating matches. I saw extremely skilled Predators or Predators that only camp. I've seen stealthy Aliens and super-fast rushing Aliens. Paranoid Marines and Marines playing it like it's Quake 3. I've seen people complaining that race X is too powerful and people complaining that the same race is way too underpowered.This only shows that the game works and it's all about the player skill. AvP was always a game which gets better with practice.
