dante's inferno deserving a second revie ...

Its just that...this reviews seems so...I dont know...unhearted...there is no effort in this review...its really flat! and I dont know if you watched the video review, but all that there was on that video was someone saying how cool gow was and that dante's inferno sucked...I think that the one who reviewed this was (no offense) an angry GoW fan who didnt liked the fact that DI is a gow rip offdante's inferno deserving a second revie ...

borrowing heavily from god of war doesn't make it (imo) only a 6.5 though. I mean... it might not be mindbendingly original... but they did seem to like the combat (most important part).

I found the bad points rather interesting and subjective. I know they wouldn't this with a PS3 exclusive and get away without a lot of criticism. [quote]

They didn't mention god of war as much as you think.

But if the game borrows heavily from GOW then ya GOW is gonna be mentioned A LOT

Especially if it was the groundwork for dantes inferno
Dante's Inferno was a GOW rip off. It didn't even try to hide it, why should the reviewers not compare the two, especially when the GOW series is a benchmark in hack'n slash.

Heavily is an understatment. This game is trash if you enjoy then thats good for you but its not worth a purchase 6.5 is where it stands its not Great but its fair to give this rip a decent score.

I'm waiting to see what gametrailers and giantbomb give the game. Not necessarily because I always agree with them, but because I know what their tastes are compared to my own.
I'm probably the one that was hyping Dante's Inferno the most, and I can see why it got that score.



The review was very well done.
I don't know what the big deal is, I watched the review and thought he did a good job and didn't go too overboard with the GoW comparisons. It could have been a lot worse. He outlined the major flaws of the game and backed them up with examples. I don't know what more you would want out of the review. He thought the game was mediocre, and so did I.

All I heard was GOW GOW GOW through the whole thing. Really how they can give such a low score without any Graphic or performance issues is beyond me. IMO they should of gotten a non GOW fanboy to review it probably why it's getting mixed reviews.

If this is trash then I suppose GoW is trash too, right? (PS, I love GoW but not enough to buy a PS3 for the final)
It's based off of a Book people!I highly doubt that Dante's Inferno copied God of War to the G.Reviewers probably looked at Gameplay and nothing more.They should pay attention to the Story and see if EA executed the Story Well and not look at how the game copied.in other words I think Dante's Inferno was unfairly Rated.

Well did you read the review?

It seems DI isn't as good as what it's trying to live up to, plain and simple.

It got a 6.5

I don't see what the complaints are, the proof is in the pudding.

Could be, he did respond and say GOW2 was one of his favourite games.
I think ur forgetting their main gripe with the game. They mentioned it a few times in the review i believe. The quality of the game is apparently separated into 3 parts. The first part being awesome, second meh, and third part god awful. Now, say what you want about them being biased towards this game cause it borrows from gow heavily, but if a game's quality dips lowest in its final part, then u r going to be left with a bad after taste. They even said that there were too many reused enemies in other areas of the game, like how gluttony monsters shouldnt be in anger or something or that sort. The game does not need to get rereviewed because they have blatantly pointed out the faults of this game, my guess is that maybe it is you who doesn't want to accept all the facts given and just blame it on the reivewer's personal taste.
