Heavy Rain demo kind of out in case you ...

How to get.
Apparently the site is getting pummeled. As in, it's down. But they're bound to get it working sometime before the official demo date (11th) I'm guessing.Managed to get it through a dummy account. Doesn't do as good a job as the Fahrenheit demo at grabbing your attention. Two separate scenes. Not so much mind-candy. Doesn't really bother setting things up, giving context, hooks or planting ''what if?''s in your head, seems to be more for familiarizing players with the various control methods. Which kind of makes sense as David Cage has said he didn't want the demo to spoil anything. I managed to get a code from the site about 40 minutes ago after trying to get one all day.The download is being painfully slow, though.

I feel like a demo for this kind of game isn't a good idea. most people who are on the edge about buying it will test it out and think ''The whole game is like this!? BORING!!!'' and then not buy it since the demo won't give you much insight into the story

Well, if you're of a mindset like that then maybe this game isn't for you. This game will hardly convince the MW2 addicts out there. But I sort of agree. While there's a reason for it, I don't think the demo really gives you much insight or particularly blows your mind with intrigue or whatnot, I find it mostly just shows you the mechanics of things. The scenes are still kind of interesting though. They're alright.
