I'm just glad I own both. One argument you may see is that GS scorewise, Uncharted 2 has the lead. Metacritic wise, both games are about tied, however, Uncharted 2 has far more reviews, making U2's 96/100 more impressive. The sheer amount of GOTY's U2 (50+?) received may also come up in this thread. Just a heads up.:PThe games only came out a few months apart, so it's not like we are comparing games that came out years apart. ;)
It comes down to taste, and they aren't exactly comparable being they are different genres. :PLike I said above, this comes down to preferences. 8) Anyways, was there any doubt You were going to Prefer Mass Effect 2 to Uncharted 2? Probably not. :)
Have a good one, mate! :)
It is my honest belief that if Mass Effe ...
You have a Mass Effect signature! Biased!
but Uncharted 2 would still get G.O.T.Y. of 2009
Wish I could play both but I'm happy with just ME.
I doubt it. I'm not too far into ME2. Although it is awesome so far, I still think U2 was the overall better game.I don't see why it would really matter if they came out at the same time. They weren't that far apart.
Uncharted 2 is the better game. Period
We'll Kevin van ord reviewed ME2 , he' s a major PS3 fanboy he scored DA:O lower then the PS3 version even though the 360 version ran smoother, if anything the game that runs smoother usually get's a higher score then one that looks sligtly better but fanboys will be fanboys.
They both are amazing.

Is it bad not to trust GS reviews? Some of the reviews just made me scratch my head and question if there some kind of motive behind the scores.
I just go off of gr these days all though i do like Game trailers reviews they seem more accurate Imo.
It seems like an apples and oranges thing. The two games are very different from one another.
Ah man.....both are like my 2 favorite games this gen,but still I would have to go with uc2.Specially for the amount of times it made me laugh. (not that me2 didnt)
Isn't Kev the one who gave Ratchet n Clank TOD a 7.5?
No, that review was sadly written by an ex-gamespot employee, who reviewed Sport Games. Somehow, they put a Sports Game guy on Ratchet, which hurt that game. :( He also doesn't seem to like the PS3, from what I've read about him across the internet, at his various jobs.

''Nobody Should Care That I Dislike Uncharted 2''''If you've been following my Tweets as I play through Uncharted 2, you already know that I don't particularly like the game. Not only do I not like it, but I can't fathom how it currently has a 97 score at Metacritic. Not one of the 75 people who have reviewed the game has given it less than a 9.0. Nobody in the entire industry seems to think that the game is anything less than stellar. It makes me furious that not one person has registered a dissenting opinion on the game -- I'm legitimately upset by this.I spent this morning pissed-off that I had to press a button to pick up ammo in Uncharted 2.I complained most of this weekend that Uncharted 2 is nothing more than Tomb Raider with a male protagonist.I'm furious with the gaming media because I don't believe anyone out there is brave enough to say that they didn't love the game.I spent a perfectly good Friday night on Twitter to share my ''important'' thoughts on this season's ''biggest'' game. This morning I received an e-mail telling me my friend's cancer had just been diagnosed as terminal. I'm bellyaching about a video game, and she now spends most of her time sleeping because she's too weak to do anything else -- she can't even eat anymore. Her boyfriend and her family are taking care of her, but she'll soon have to move to a hospice center. Let's just say that you typically don't make plans to come home from a hospice center.... This morning I spent 30 minutes arguing with a former GameSpot coworker that Uncharted 2 doesn't really have a very good story.''

I go to other sources for reviews. Atleast GS has the best forums.

Reminds me of OXM lady that gave Dead Space a B score.

That was another bad review, she also had a falling out with OXM, I believe due to that review. Either way, she no longer works for OXM. :lol:Maghan Watt, and she gave it a 6.5/10. :P
