You can't deny they improved some aspects, making it the superior game.

Not worth picking up again. The story and characters were just to bad.

A B from 1up is 75% in Metacritic and 7.5 from GS is 75% on metacritic but that doesn't mean that a B from 1up is a 7.5 from GS.

This is not some pathetic form of damage control as I fully expect this game to score 7.5 or lower depending on how GS thinks the JRPG genre's standards have moved on or not a year later. If they take the time to review it that is.

the game is still a waste of $60

It's great that PS3 owners get to play the game, and a superior version at that, I'm not denying that, but he was making out like the games can even be compared in terms of quality. Of course the PS3 version will be superior if it's coming out a year later, they've had a year extra to work on it and add/change things.
