Heavy Rain Imressions thread

Post all your impressions on the demo here for those who did the Precinct 51 game. The official demo is scheduled for release on Febuaryth 11 on PSN!!!!!



My impressions.



Without spoiling absolutely anything about the characters or plot in the demo itself I will speak my mind of the demo. It's a satisfying demo which brings you directly capable of learning the controls and provides a taste of features you will encounter as you play. The graphics are of course phenomenal and at one point reminded me of The Matrix style art design(?). The gameplay far exceeded my expectations I must add that it is extremely involving and is by no means a movie or ''interactive entertainment:'' it's very much a game experience, with taste. Much like a Point %26 Click but with phenes and articulacy in excecution. By far has demonstrated it's promise in this demo. When you play it on Feb 11 i'll hold my word on that promise.

The game looks amazing despite what lemmings say.

and N4G gave the game a 6.0, the same source that gave ME2 a 9.0 :o

It isn't? It's a disc that goes into a games console, which is interacted with said consoles controller, in order to move and define what the character does. I'd define that as a game.2.) Have you played anything other than the demo? Or are you basing this off a sole review?3.) That's the main design element of the game, which has been known since close to it's inception. So, ''No WAI :o''4.) There are numerous paths, and endings to the game (as far as I am aware, so how does that equate to ''No replay value''?

I didn't play the demo, but I'll still give my impressions and they are all for giving Heavy Rain its props. Like so many other people have said, this game is amazing and puts to shame all the haters that don't know a great game when they see one.
