Oh hell no. I like Sonic and I like Mario, but if they're gonna do that, make a different platformer. Not add Sonic in a sequel of ''GOTY 2007''.
theres no way they'd ruin the mario universe like that. they'd put in donkey kong or link waaaay b4 they think about putting in sonic
sonic is as close to programming actual garbage onto a cd as you can come. i dont think they would downgrade a mario game like that.

I have no problems with this being true if it is kept in context. For example, if there was a green hills galaxy, and mario helps sonic take out some baddies and then for sa few segments you play as Sonic. Maybe even a Robotnik boss battle to end the Galaxy.
