you have a ps3 for 350$ 150$ for 3 controllers then you need 1500$ for a good tv then you need to spend 50$ on HDMI cable then you need to buy games that are like 20$ more ,I could make a pc way more powerful then ps3 for the same price and will have way more features .Console gaming is so expensive
Then buy a PC while I enjoy my ''expensive'' PS3.Console gaming is so expensive
In the long run, PC gaming is infinitely cheaper. I've saved probably 500$ this generation.
All 360/PS3 games are tribute to Sonic 06.
Whether TC actually believes that stuff or they're just trying to start something, there's no need for these threads.
Good for you, i personally prefer console gaming.
Whether TC actually believes that stuff or they're just trying to start something, there's no need for these threads.
There is no need for system wars. other sites get along just fine without it . Without posts like these there is no point .
I can find everything you just overpriced for much cheaper. Especially a TV and HDMI cable. Also why are you counting 3 extra controllers when the PC cant even do splitscreen?
Both PC and Console gaming can be very similar in price, the difference with PC is it allows for the ''enthusiast'' market (in the sense of buying more powerful parts). Both have advantages and disadvantages, and this thread does nothing to dissuade anybody.
Nah, it's more like: Gaming Is so expensive.
In the long run, PC gaming is infinitely cheaper. you need all 3 consoles to really enjoy console gaming. yet pc is still better then all 3 put tother . for 800$ i could make a super computer that makes uncharted look like a NES game . People should for get those over priced systems and all game on pc . You have no real reason to be on consoles. only thing t hey got is first party games running on old gimped hardware.
the only expensive thing about gaming are games themselves, a 60$ per game??? what the hell?On the other hand, you will need one PS3 in 9 years, you may need couple of x360s in these 9 years, but for the PC you may need to pay tons of money to make a PC that runs games decently in these 9 years.

pc is not better then all 3, i've enjoyed console gaming with just 1 system, and, i've enjoyed gaming with just 1 system, most games overlap, but there are rts/mmo/fps on pc that i like, then on 1 console i get my platformers/racing/adventure/fighting/tps/ and fps's there too.
Post pictures of your 800$ supercomputer please.

i'd like to point out in 9 years, if you spent less then the price of a console to upgrade your computer at the beginning of the 9 years, you will be upgrading in 4 to 5 years, and if you spend the same amount again, you will be upgrading at teh end of the 9 years, but if you spend enormous amounts of money on a pc at teh beginning of that 9 years, then you *might* make it 9 years withotu an upgrade, $1000 you'll probably need a slight upgrad for a vid card.
Post pictures of your 800$ supercomputer please.
They said they can make it.You could make a great computer for $800, which i'm sure is what they meant by ''supercomputer''.
