Yes but this isn't GeoW, it's GeoW3 and weirdly enough people liked it for more than just it's graphics *shock*

If a Gears of War title were to release this year, maybe it would be a spin-off like ODST or Reach. Mark Rein did say that the trilogy would conclude next generation.

Whether it's Gears 3, Gears: Total Recall, or a new IP it should be awesome :). Also, I think those rumored release dates shouldn't be taken too seriously.
They better have a beta.. I swear if the online is botched again for the first few months I wont buy it

Anyways, if so, there are too many games coming out this year, killer on my wallet.
I doubt GeOW 3 would launch this year. Since Reach is coming this year, GeOW 3 will most likely come next year but I do hope they show it off/announce it this year

I mean sure people will buy it and like it, but They probably want a bigger exclusive heavy hitter for november-ish time of year

Well I am willing to bet that one of those games comes out this year.
i pray they went back to gears 1's style multiplayer. superior to its sequel's in every single way.

We will just have to wait and see an announcement, it's probably going to come at GDC just like how Gears 2 was announced at GDC 08.
