When STAR CRAFT 2 really going to come o ...

In all honesty, it is great that Blizzard is taking heaps of time, because remember, this is StarCraft. But doesnt one wish that they would not say its coming out at all until they are 100% sure? I mean they should be just polishing the game if they say its coming out in a few months, but we see them creating whole new maps and levels? They should not say 'in 2 months' when they are designing whole new levels and when they should be just patching. But when it comes out regardless of it getting good reviews, the worlds internet will probably explode from all the people playing it. Because everyone will play it. Even the Pope will play it.When STAR CRAFT 2 really going to come o ...

The amount of effort they are putting in it behind the drapery is, to say the least, amazing.Creating new maps is not an extremely long process, in a matter of two-three hours a dedicated team can be squeezed to produce dozens of them. By levels you mean the single-player campaign missions? If that's the case yes, it might be long, but still not enough to force them to delay it.And well, if that would be the case about the internet then we might all be wrong and the game would be released in 2012
Yesterday.
im being optimistic and hoping for SC2 in 2010 and Diablo 3 in 2011 (PLEASE GOD!!!!)
Never.

But in reality, probably late 2010 or early 2011.

I'm betting late 2010.

Beta seems to be nowhere in sight and will last 4-6 months. So whenever that starts up we can have an expected release date.

I hope it will be done in 2010. I cannot wait to play Starcraft 2, but I really want to play Diablo III and Blizzard said DIII wouldn't be out until SC2.
Who knows? I don't.
Well you have to take into account that they are designing a whole new battle.net for all their games. But man it sure hurts waiting this long :(.
Starcraft will be out in 2010. Diablo 3 is the one likely getting pushed to 2011.
If you actually saw the gameplay feeds provided by blizzard you'll know that ''it'll be released when it's done''.So far expectation point to mid 2010.

if Blizzard is smart enough, they should charge monthly fee on starcraft 2. people are going to pay it to play anyway.

I'm probably an abnormality, but I can honestly say that I wouldn't buy it if there was no lan AND monthly fees for online.
I'm done with Starcraft. They are keeping the same design as the original with nothing new except units. That is a no no for me since the first game has aged pretty bad.
